What is Mobility?

A lot of this is going to look a lot like yoga... but will follow a different structure

There's also a lot of mobility work from weightlifting, CrossFit, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and gymnastics.

It's all about working through full range of motion in all of our joints.

Shoulders

Hips

Spine

Pelvis

Ankles

Knees...

We will be focusing on MOBILIZING the areas that are problematic and get tight for MUMS - upper backs, chest, shoulders, low back, hamstrings...

We'll be bringing lots of MOVEMENT to these areas.

Our goals are:

  • to reduce pain
  • to improve posture

This is probably the MOST IMPORTANT part of the Foundational Programme - but if you combine it with the Core and Strength modules, you'll have a really well rounded Postpartum Programme. Remember you could be on totally different levels of the 3 programmes!

We are all on a spectrum from being HYPERMOBILE to being really STIFF and TIGHT... the stiffer you are, the more important mobility work will be for you!
