This Basic Breathing Tutorial will help you establish diaphragmatic breathing and identify any unnecessary tension in the diaphragm and upper abdominal muscles.

This is SO IMPORTANT for both connecting with your pelvic floor AND ensuring that you are not putting unnecessary pressure down on your pelvic floor.

Don't forget that the "core" is a coke-can-shaped pressure system that is made up of our diaphragm, our pelvic floors and the abdominal muscles that wrap all the way round to our backs.

Accessing these muscles through the breath is the first step to strengthening them!
