In this video we are going to assess the strength of your abdominal muscles so that you know where to start in this core programme.
This matters because we want to start with the right level for you, then progress over time.
If the exercises are too hard, we likely won't strengthen our abdominal muscles.
And if they're too easy, it just won't do anything! We won't get STRONGER by doing breathing exercises and heel slides forever!

I'll walk you through 4 simple core exercises, that get a little harder each time.
Don't worry about technique or breathing, we'll learn all that in the core programme.
You are just going to pay attention to what you're TUMMY MUSCLES are doing as we do the exercises, by placing your hands on your belly and feeling if they "bulge" or "jump" out - if they do, and you can't control it.
