4. Strengthening your abdominal muscles
It's time to Strengthen your Core Muscles.
It is probably no surprise to you that you will likely need to rehabilitate and strengthen your core muscles!
That is EXACTLY what we are going to do in the Foundational Core Programme - so just start at Level 1A and work your way through the workouts.
Level 1 might feel too easy, so move up to Level 2, but Level 1 will give you a great base to coordinate your breath with the movement, and it's very gentle if you are starting early after the birth.
I know you might be eager to get on with the core programme, but taking just a little bit of time to do the breathing, movement and scar tissue massage will help you maximize your healing and strengthening! This is a hollistic approach!
Also don't neglect the rest of your body! The Mobility Programme will help you get rid of aches and pains and the Strength Programme will help you feel strong again after weeks of hardly moving after the surgery.
